Hi. Is there any way to increase unit cap to 2000 in OS X version of the game?
EDIT: I managed to fix it myself. All you need to do is to set up virtual machine with Windows 98, copy whole Total Annihilation folder into the VM and run 1500 unit patcher which can be downloaded from TA Universe. Then you copy the patched EXE and totala.ini into the original folder on your mac.
You can change unit cap up to 5000 by modifying totala.ini with Windows notepad.
BTW, do you know how do I pause the game on mac? I can open the menu by pressing fn+F2 but I can't pause the game because of missing 'Pause/Break' key.
