I haven't been able to get the installer to write a damn thing to my hard drive. Anyone had any luck on mac? I've left a support ticket, but no response yet.

Works OK for me.

Mac Pro 2.66 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 12 GB RAM 24inch ACD Mavericks 10.9.5/AMD Radeon HD 7950

It may help somebody to answer your question better if you where to put what the excact problem is your having, error messages and alike.

Have been able to install no problem on my Macbook Pro 15inch Mid 2015.

when install did not look like it was installing but left it and about a few mins later was installed

Was worried as not mention the iris pro graphic card but seems to be running ok. so far

P.S Used the stand alone installer ( not got Galaxy)

Had the same problem. It works if you install the game through GOG Galaxy.

I do not use Galaxy and it installed fine on my Mac, he really needs to post what exactly is happening, error messages etc.

I had a similar problem when GOG changed the way its manual installers work, I thought nothing had happened even though it looked like the game at that time installed. Then I went to look for the game and it just was not there. After installere has finished the install then you get the option of where do you want the game put, if you jump this part thinking the game has installed then you will not find it and assume that it has not installed.

I got it working with the galaxy client, it was a breeze. What was happening with the standalone installer was rather strange. The installer would go through its motions, I would even see the hard drive space going down in real time in the Finder status bar, but once it finished, all signs that it had done anything were gone. The installer even said that it wouldn't take any space on the hard drive which I found worrisome (see screencap).

Anyway, I'm fine with using the galaxy client to install this and future games. Just an FYI for people who have reservations about this software, you can run the game without opening the client, unlike steam. In fact, the galaxy client is about 100 times more lightweight and unobtrusive than steam...

The old GOG downloader client is (probably) 100 times more lightweight and unobtrusive than Galaxy.
