Instabuy.
insta buy-again (got the game at launch from runic, got one other copy in a bundle from humble bundle, drm free too) but hey, I already had Torchlight 1 on GOG (and shared my free gift copy i got here to a friend who loved the 1st then) but i was sad NOT having BOTH Torchlight on GOG..

It's done now, great

I wonder, though, i have the old runic version installed with the serial from there to register a runic account, but how would the gog version work (intend to gift gog torchlight 2 to someone) regarding that ? how would Runic entertainment recognize the gog version for online multiplayer games and account creation ? Usually in such case, there is a "serial key" in the game page of gog account for games requiring a separate serial for online multiplay...)

thanks for answer

Awesome!

Bought two copies from Runic a few years back to see if it was worth putting into our LAN game rotation. My game LAN is isolated from the internet, largely so I don't need antivirus, malware, etc. Both the hassle and the overhead. Then I found out about needing the on-line connection.

Runic offered some non-internet install they allow to military personnel; basically install some pre-installer, do the install, send them some file, get back another file from them, do something with it, send them back something, they send another thingie. Or something like that.

I sent them a message to the effect of, "Don't bother. If you ever decide not to treat your paying customers like thieves, let me know. I'll buy several more copies." I never heard back.

Thanks. GOG! You guys rock!

Oh, obviously, I bought it within a few seconds of seeing it on the main page.
