I'm planning to get the game for my and my girl but im not sure if its easy to set up im not really great with networks and stuff and on steam my games seem easier to set up, so is it easy with TL2? Because i dont wanna fool around every time we wanna start a game, there were several updates to GOG Galaxy so maybe its just a push of a button now?

I have a DRM-free version I got direct from the developers and was able to set it up easily (my partner was using the Steam version). I don't remember exactly how it worked (this was a year or two ago) but I think one of us hosted a game and invited the other, and it was simple to do.

I assume the GOG version acts like the version i have, so it should be easy. But we weren't using Steam or Galaxy or anything to set it up, just the in-game menus. I've never tried doing it through Galaxy, maybe someone else can comment on that.

Torchlight II has no Galaxy integration at all; to play online just log into your Runic account in-game, start or continue a game and select "Internet" and you're good to go. All you need to do next is create a room and invite your girlfriend to join the game (you can add her as a friend for things to be even quicker, just add her Runic username to your Torchlight II friend list).
