Hi!

I was just wondering if Outlander bow/crossbow users are viable in this game? I read on the forums from 2012 (not many posts since then in the game forums) that there is a problem with the bow range (too short), making it very sub-par to play one.

Has it been fixed since then or is it better to drop the char for a pistol/glaive user?

You can increase their range, and skills will have their own range, so it doesn't matter. Only real problem is there's no incentive to choose bow/xbow. They have nothing to set them apart from other weapons, so you'd be choosing them for looks only.

1st time I played TL 2 i used an outlander - used guns and bows - whatever was handy. Character is at level 82 and is using a Crossbow as primary weapon so it'll work

*got killed a lot - but that's because I'm clumsy.
