During play the game stops and I get a message that torchlight.exe has stopped working. This has happened 4-5 times since purchase.

have i done something wrong or is it just something I have to live with?

This never happened for me. Can we get some info about your computer? What OS are you running? What graphics card / processor do you have?

If you're on Windows 7, sometimes UAC or other security settings can mess up your games, so I'd recommend installing it somewhere OTHER than Program Files (like C:/Games) and/or running the game as admin. If you choose to run as admin you may also need to reinstall as admin as well. Back up your saves first, of course.

I never use the Program Files for my game folders. That's an automatic no-no.
Just every once in awhile it does this. It's the only game I have trouble with. Wasn't sure if it was a GOG thing.

yes sir. I update as frequently as allowed. As I said it only happens occasionally. Just weird.
