Hello i was wondering how to add the game to Steam, now that I've been gifted the version on GoG. com. I use Steam dayilly and it would be good to know how to get the key to activate the game on Steam. Thx in advance :D.

GOG does not provide a Steam key or means to redeem Torchlight at another site. Your game is accessible from the library at any time.

What Jxrdan said — and it holds true for all of GOG's library, not just Torchlight. Steam and GOG are completely separate businesses owned by separate interests.

Considering GOG and Steam are two completely different businesses, it doesn't really seem like a logical step. I think it would be sorta like buying a videogame at Walmart and expecting to get another copy for free at Target.

You all fail to realize that just because GoG isn't owned by Valve, it doesn't mean a steam key cannot be given. GreenManGaming sells games and provide steam keys, they are not owned by Valve. Humble Bundle gives steam keys, they are not owned by Valve.

I got all 3 of them free. Torchlight 2 gifted to me through Steam, Torchlight 1 included with that gift and now I have TL1 here on GoG free. :)
