Personally, I use a Dvorak keyboard and Ctrl+Shift into QWERTY to play games.
The game was actually designed to be played on a gamepad, not keyboard/mouse, and I still think it feels way better on one. If you have a gamepad laying around, the game is compatible with most of them.
If those two options aren't appealing, I'd say don't purchase the game yet.
There is one big update in the works that would hopefully include remapping, but we don't have any idea how long it will be before that's ready, so we don't want to make any promises. "
