Is it just me or do you also experience very strange and often annoying movement of the camera, especially in tight places, even when using tank controls?

Today I tested TR1, the original DOS release played in DOSBox Staging. First level, after the first switch where there is the locked gate leading to the exit area, but you never pass it but rather go around.

There I ran to the wall and pressed "Roll". In the DOS release, the camera pans to Lara's left or right side in an somewhat 90 degrees angle. When running forward, the camera immediately positions itself behind Lara. Thus haveing good view of things ahead.

In the stupid Remaster, same scenario and approach, the camera shows Lara's front and when I start running, it stays that way for some seconds. This drives me mad, as I can't see what's coming.

Issue made me rage quit playing TR3 in second level where one needs to get these 2 Keys to proceed to the level exit.

The camera needs improving, period.

It's like Roger Rabbit is holding it whenever you brush up against a wall, or pretty much any other vertical geometry or object, and it goes all over the place and gets stuck at the same time. Especially when using modern controls.

Perhaps they could introduce an optional "Let camera clip through literally anything" toggleable option. It would be weird seeing through the world, but it's still better than getting stuck on everything. God knows they probably aren't going to improve the camera overall, so mas well just introduce a, probably relatively easy, quickfix option.
