ChorusOfOne: The "this could help" link you posted takes me to a page regarding technical issues for a game called "King of Dragon Pass", not sure how that's relevant? If you are indicating analyzing the wait chain..
Gydion: No, it took you to a particular post I felt may have been relevant. Some of the KoDP people appeared to have a similar issue. Superficially at least. Unfortunately, analyzing the wait chain did not help with TR2
Hey Gydion, I'm going to take a look at that link you posted again. Perhaps I can tinker a little, do a little more research and figure something out, thanks for your input. I did just kinda briefly skim over the info, I'll dig into more detail when I have a chance. I like this game for nostalgia and all, but heck, I'm neck-deep into Rise of the Tomb Raider at the moment... ;)
However, I just want to let anyone that may experience this problem and come across this thread know that I did get a reply from GOG support, and I have been advised that for whatever reason, they couldn't get Tomb Raider 2 to work in a stable manner with Windows 10, therefore there is now a note on the store page for the Tomb Raider 1+2+3 pack stating Tomb Raider 2 specifically will not work on Windows 10. The note is right under the minimum system requirements listed on the page.
I wasn't aware of this, I bought this pack of games way before Windows 10 was released, so I can't say I would've ever realized this note was out there on the store page. It ran fine on Windows 8.1 previously, but I just upgraded my main system to Windows 10 about two weeks ago, first time trying to install these old Tomb Raider games to test, see if I ran into any issues.
In the chance I come across any tweaks or fixes, I'll post back here. Thanks again!
