Hi!

I have the problem, like also some other people already were writing, but didnt find any solution so far, no matter what patch I install or what advise (I have found several via google search) I follow, the problem consists.
The problem is that the videos are not playing in the Tomb Raider 2 to 5 games (all of them!). If the video wants to play, I hear the sound, usually see the first frame frozen, but the video itself is not running.
Interesting thing is: I figured out it will suddenly work when I add a second monitor, but only if both of them are activated! Then the video runs perfectly... Once I switch off one monitor the videos are not playing anymore!
Anyone else had the same behavior? Maybe someone has an idea what can do to play the game with FMV also with only one monitor activated, because I really would prefer not to have two monitors switched on the whole time, and Im not always able to use a second monitor to play this game.. also other people, I think, will maybe not.

Wow, thanks for the second monitor workaround! Simple and it really works. If you want another solution, try some old DirectX wrapper - I suggest dgvoodoo. It's not without flaws (I couldn't get rid of screen tearing and had a bit blurry image), but it will help you with FMVs.
