I agree, but...
It's not that hard to install Unfinished Business for Tomb Raider 1. I mean, it's included with that PlayStation music mod, right? Same with The Golden Mask for Tomb Raider 2. It's not that hard to install that, either. Copy the entire Tomb Raider 2 folder within the GOG.com folder to the desktop, for example. Then delete all the files in the data folder and then copy over the files in the data folder where The Golden Mask is installed. Also, copy "tombpc.dat" from the data folder to the Tomb Raider 2 folder to overwrite the existing "tombpc.dat" file. To save space, you can delete every file in the fmv folder except for
"LOGO.RPL". And there you go, TR2 Gold.
On the other hand, we shouldn't have to do that. GOG should have already done that. At least, for Unfinished Business and The Golden Mask, since they were available for free and I could not see why there would be rights issues. The biggest problem is with Tomb Raider 3's expansion, as that was standalone and was sold at retail. Should I really have to pay for it on top of the $10 I spent on the original games? And probably at a higher cost than the original games? Or should I have to go to "other means" to acquire it?
At the very least, they should release an update that includes the expansions for Tomb Raider 1 and 2. They're available for free online, so there is no reason not to. It would also be great if they could include Tomb Raider 3's expansion, but they may not have the rights to.
