When I try to start Tomb Raider 1 I get several error messages. The first says:

"You are running in a Non-Accelerated OpenGL!!! Thinks can become really slow."

I click OK and it says:

"Severe Problem: OpenGL GL_EXT_packed_pixels extension is required for OpenGLide!"

I click OK again and it says:

"Severe Problem: OpenGL GL_ET_abgr extension is required for OpenGLide!"

When I get to actually playing the game it runs REALLY slow. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this issue?

I JUST started getting this a few minutes ago after upgrading to Win 8.1. It was working on WIn8 for me fine, moments before upgrading.

I'd revert back but that's a full system wipe.

Figured it out. (and yes, I know this is an old thread, but the search pulls up this one), so anyone else having the issue after upgrading:

Press the Windows button + X, click Device Manager, click on Display adapters

If it has "ATI Radeon HD XXXX Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1)" then that is your problem.

1. Right click that and click "Update Driver Software"
2. click "Brows my computer for driver software"
3. click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
4. select "ATI Radeon HD XXXX Series"
5. Click next.
