Hi
Is possible to run tr 1 in 16:10? I read the forum and seems like it can't, but how can I increase the resolution? 640x480 is awful low for my dell u2412m... I can bear the black strings as long the game isn't stretched. I tried the graphic option utility under start-programs-tr, I select an higher resolution, but the screen seems stuck at 640x480.
Bye

Look for the glide.ini file, either in the Tomb Raider 1 or in the DOSBOX directory, I'm not sure at the moment. Setting resolution=1600 should run the game in 1600x1200 which should be the best choice for your monitor. 16:10 is not possible as far as I'm aware.

thanks for the reply. The max resolution for my monitor is 1920x1200. With 1600x1200 the game wil be stretched? If yes, I prefer to run it at 640x480.

a little off topic:
I played the game many years ago in the play station 1. As far as I can remember, you could save only in specific positions, instead here in the pc version through the passport you can save wherever you want. I remember wrong, and in the ps version you could save everywhere you wanted?

Whether its stretched or not depends on your monitor and/or graphics card. If its stretched, try to fix it by looking in your monitors OSD or your graphics driver settings.

Yes, on the PS1 you can only save in specific positions. Probably to save space on the memory card.
Try running the game in safe mode, that was the only way I could get the window to not be tiny
