Hi, I bought Tomb Raider 1 + 2 + 3 yesterday, but upon installing it I noticed some weird graphics problem. Every object that is a 2D sprite and not a 3D model (some fences, doors, panels, etc) are always rendered on top of everything else (i.e You can see doors at a distance rendered on top of walls, or lara will be rendered behind a fence that is actually in front of her).
I tried Tomb Raider 2 and it works fine. I haven't tried 3 yet, but my guess is that the problem is with 1 because it's the only one that runs on DOS.

Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this?

Thank you!

(And excuse my crappy english!)

[EDIT]
It was an issue with my Intel Graphcis Chipset. It's fixed now.

To solve the problems go to Control Panel > Intel(R) GMA Driver for Mobile > 3D Settings

Set the Depth Buffer Bit Depth value to 24 Bit.

Aaaaand It's done!

Now the first FMV won't show up -_- I'll create a different question post for that.

Hope this is of any help for people having the depth issue!

I'm having this exact same problem and can't find a way to solve it. My card is an Intel GMA 3150, any ideas?

Ooops, I just saw this. It's a year later, but in case you didn't work it out, I edited my original post with a solution that worked for me.

PS: Are you from Argentina? I'm from Uruguay :) I kept the post in english though for 'etiquette', because mostly everyone here is an english speaker :)

Cheers!

That's right! I remember I did something similar. I can't remember if I changed it to 24bits or 16bits but that change made it run ok :)

PS: Yes I am! And I'm glad to know you're from Uruguay :)
