Yes, i don't like remastered versions of anything... I'm getting stuttering after 5 minutes of playing, tried the multipatch but is the same, i have to close the game and open it again to get rid of it and after that it does again, so annoying

Hi Matias,

I found the following links helpful for getting Tomb Raider 2 run more nicely (before the TRR came out):

(1) This is different than the multipatch you're talking about. This automated fix asks for a 'clean install' of either the GoG or Steam install of Tomb Raider 2. It uses dgVoodoo dlls (intercepts DirectX systems call from older games to work better with modern hardware). If you don't like the automated fix then you can download the "Source code (zip)" files and sort out what goes where.

https://github.com/Carlmundo/TombRaider2-AutomatedFix/releases/tag/1.0

(2) These files are already in the download above, BUT having the dgVoodoo dlls might help other, older games run more smoothly.

The link "dgVoodoo v2.82.3" are the dlls I'm referencing.

It takes some figuring out what to keep, what to throw away. Again, your mileage may vary. Hope this helps and doesn't lead you too far down a rabbit hole! Good luck.

For what it's worth, you can play TRR like the original games by pressing "F1" to toggle between old style and modern graphics. Everything is contained in a nice, tight package and runs more smoothly.

Are you running the Game in Fullscreen or Windowed Mode?

Maybe try it in Windowed and look how it acts in that, i did encounter somethin back then myself (on Steam) and i run it windowed and use Lossless Scaling to upscale and fullscreen it.
