I really wasn't sure whether to buy these games or not, because I looked at the topics here on the forum and saw the posts about how it was broken, GOG didn't bother to test it, blah blah blah... Needless to say, since I'm such a big TR fan, I took a risk and it paid off.
There WERE some problems at first, but they were easily fixed. TR1 had FMVs that worked fine, but the game itself was just a black window... I could hear Lara, but couldn't see anything. Running the desktop shortcut as an admin fixed that and I haven't had a single problem since (and as of this post, I've made it all the way to Egypt, so I'm almost at the end). TR2 just had glitchy FMVs, with a strange border appearing around the edges. Once again, running as an admin fixed this. TR3 didn't have any issues whatsoever.
So I'm basically writing this post for those who, like me, might be on the fence about getting these games. Take note of all the five star reviews this release is getting. The people with problems are very much in the minority, it seems.
