Is there controller support or do you have to use a mouse and keyboard? I have a usb adapter for my dualshock which would be perfect for these.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I don't know much about this stuff.

I'm not sure if there is native controller support. I'm using xpadder and it's working perfectly.
My layout is similar to the Playstation.

Tomb Raider I/II

Cross- Control (Action)
Square- Alt (Jump)
Triangle- Space Bar (Draw Weapon)
Circle- End (Roll)
L1- Number Pad 0 (Look)
R1- Shift (Walk)
L2- Delete (Side Step Left)
R2- Page Down (Side Step Right)
L3- / (Flare TR2 Only)
Select- Escape (Inventory)

Tomb Raider III

Cross- Control (Action)
Square- Alt (Jump)
Triangle- Space Bar (Draw Weapon)
Circle- End (Roll)
L1- Number Pad 0 (Look)
R1- Shift (Walk)
L2- Period (Crouch)
R2- / (Dash)
L3- Comma (Flare)
Select- Escape (Inventory)

In Tomb Raiders II/III, you can hot key weapons/health packs instead of going to the inventory every time. If you want to change your controls, here's where I got the control layout from:

There is controller support, but if you look through other topics you'll see that there may be some (very minor) tweaking involved.

Also, FYI, if you don't use a gamepad, it's keyboard only. There's no way to use a mouse as far as I can tell. But I've gotten used to it pretty fast, surprisingly.

Edit: Using a gamepad may also require using either XPadder or JoyToKey (the latter is free, but a little hard to use).

You can have native gamepad support if you use a DirectInput device like the Logitech G710 in directinput mode.

There is a setting in Windows 7 for game controllers where you set which device to use for legacy games.

Believe me, it is a lot tighter than keyboard to gamepad mapping software. I also use Pinnacle Profiler but the controls feel a lot worse. And Tomb Raider has relatively poor controls to begin with.
