The Steam versions Tomb Raider 1-3 will get a remaster (via PaperRockScissor). Any chance to bring these to the gog versions?

Maybe. It depends on the whims of Sqaure-Enix, the publisher.
Ive been holding off buying the Tomb Raider games from here because of the reviews, if they were to bring the android ports over, i'd buy them day 1 as i hear there very well done.
...aaand they are cancelled. All the videos from youtube are gone, all the tweets are gone.

Goddammit Square Enix.

EDIT: My bad, their twitter is still active.

They sounded dubious to begin with. I didn't think they looked that different, they totally didn't sound any different, and then I started hearing things about them possibly being buggy, little more than mods/wrappers.

Yeah. First they said it is going to be a remaster. Then it became a mod. First they said an open beta was planned for the this summer. Later they said it needs to be greenlit by Square Enix.

IMO they didn't need to. I would be happy with a version that just runs on modern windows (and maybe linux) and nothing else is changed (Gameplay-wise. Under the hood changes are always welcome).

Really? I heard it was the mobile ports that were not that good (they were made by the people behind this) but I did not heard anything like that. Can you give me some sources?

various posts/forums. Nothing official. Likely people just as clueless as I am. The same sort of thing you'll fine when pretty much ANYTHING is released or announced.
