Been so looking forward to finally having foreign subs ontop of the audio but, Japanese isn't selectable in the game yet the files are present. Any ideas how to correct?

Japanese seems to be available in the Steam version.

cmpxchg: Japanese and Simplified Chinese support have been added in patch 1.01.

Are you referring to Tomb Raider (2013)? I got the GOTY edition from Amazon Prime Gaming, and I don't see any file referring to Japanese. The version of my game appears to be 1.01 as well.
