My Norton scanner found no malware in it when I scanned the executable, but the file insight gave it a bad rating.

Is the program's bad rating a false positive as usual or is it actually dangerous?

So it's a false as usual. Yeah, Norton is effective as its job, but it's too strict.

I like that Metroid larvae picture you have as your profile pic; I've recently started the series myself, with both Metroid 1 on FDS and AM2R.

I had Norton for a few years so I know how that goes.

As for Metroid, NES is releasing their Classic Mini in a couple of weeks and the original Metroid is on there. I can't wait tot see that bad boy on my widescreen TV.
