what are you supposed to do after winning at the giant chessboard? anyone knows? there doesn't seem to be no way to exit the room.

Yeah, that's what I was talking about. It's simple and it doesn't really matter if you win or lose.
I forget which is which but either way one of two things will happen, some boxes/cages will rise up out of the ground allowing you to get to an exit OR a trap door on the floor will open allowing you to get to an exit. Both of them have a few different traps but they both ultimately lead to the same place.

Winning the board game which is called 'Sennet' or something makes the platforms rise. If you lose you go down the trapdoors... There are secrets which you can only get by going down the trapdoors but it is tricky to get as you have to jump the right way while sliding down trap door.
