Did I just somehow miss my only chance at grabbing the Tomb Raider games on sale at GOG? I remember they were all on a 50% sale when the GOG holiday sales started, and I was under the (mistaken?) impression that that would last throughout the sales period.

Now they are all showing up as being full-priced again. I can't tell whether I just misunderstood, or there's an error somewhere, or... what. :( Or even if there's been any mention of another sale or bundle for them during the holidays on GOG.

Any idea?

...So I did some Google searching, and the only mention I could find about this was in a few buried forum posts in a much larger thread, and GOG's Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Apparently, the Tomb Raider games were part of an EIDOS sale that was only supposed to last for 1 week? And there was no mention of this on GOG's main page, announcements, or on the games' store pages themselves. Nor in the automatic emails sent out to remind people about the holiday sales.

:( Oh well.

I'm in the same boat as you .... was planning to buy as part of the holiday sale, only to be surprised today. Maybe it comes back as a special?

That's what I was hoping on, but then I found this post on their Facebook page yesterday (apparently posted Tuesday): "Starting tomorrow, Square Enix games will not be on 50% off sale anymore. It's your last chance in 2012 to pick up Tomb Raider, Thief, Soul Reaver, Hitman series and other awesome games for half price!" So at best, January 1-3 would be the only possible days to bring the sale back one more time.

Dang, I saw them 50% off too late, too, sadly. Here's hoping Jan 1-3 they bring 'em back down, I'd really like to re-buy TR 1-3, but missed out about and had no clue about the SquareEnix sale ending, thanks for clearing it up!
