I got tomb raider 1+2+3 yesterday and after i installed everything and opened tomb raider 1 when it got to the main menu it would keep on scrolling to the right and would never stop. I held down the left arrow key and it would stop until i let go of it. Either way it won't let me select anything or start the game. And tomb raider 3 has no sound at all. Tomb raider 2 is the only game that works 100% fine. Could someone help me with the problems i've listed in this message?

First of all have you installed the optional patch from the game menu in your games?

Secondly make sure you don't have a joypad plugged in when starting TR1 thats what cause the issue a fix for this is already on the forums but you'll have to find it :)
If you mean i shouldn't have a controller pluged in my computer i should try that. But if you meant something else then let know:) Btw i love your Lara avatar:) I've been a tomb raider fan since i started gaming at 6 years old and i'm gonna be 19 next month:)
Ugggghhhh. I can't fix either of em. they work on my windows xp computer but not my windows 7 laptop. How do i get the update for the tr games? Is it in the downloads list with the purchase or is it somewhere in the comments or something?

If you go to your My Account page and select Tomb Raider 1+2+3. Once there, you'll see a link for the game installer and then just underneath you'll see a Universal Update link. Click it, download it, and install it. It should fix your game for Windows 7. Let us know if you have any problems/questions :D
Oh that update. Of course i downloaded that. I download everything that comes with a purchase. But tomb raider 1 and 3 still doesn't work right. I've clicked on properties and compadibility but nothing happend or got fixed. I just want tr 1 to not keep scrolling in the main menu all by itself and tr 3 to produce sound and not silence.

Hmmm. Have you ran the Setup utility for Tomb Raider 3? It should pop up when click on your Start button, click on All Programs, then the GOG.com folder that comes up, Tomb Raider 3 and then the Tools folder under that. The Setup executable is there, please try running it just once before running Tomb Raider 3.

Here's the simpler version:

Start > All Programs > GOG.com > Tomb Raider 1+2+3 > Tomb Raider 3 > Setup.

As for Tomb Raider 1, have you tried running the game as Administrator? Have you tried running the Graphic Setup program for it and trying various settings?

If none of the above helps, please send a detailed message to our Support email along with a DxDiag and we'll do our best to help you out :D.

Well, we do have a site feedback widget somewhere around these here parts :D

I'm just glad I could partially (with Tomb Raider 3) help you out :D.

Now, let's get to the bottom of your Tomb Raider 1 issues. Can you tell me what you have tried to get the game running so that I don't ask you to take steps you have already tried?
I deleted the game and reinstalled it, went into the properties and then compadibility and set it to windows 95 which is what it was on my xp computer, and i did set it to run as administrador, and used the graphic mode setup like you said and tried to use different settings. And graphic mode setup didn't work. That's basically it:)
And btw tr 3 has a poor video quality or whatever you call that. The gameplay is just slow. Like it does pauses all the time. It kinda freezes in a way. You know what i mean?:)

This problem sounds like something beyond my capabilities to solve at this time. I would like, however, for you to send a nicely detailed email to our support team (please include a DxDiag as well :D). Please tell our guys and gals what steps you have already taken to try and get your game to run. The more info we have, the better we can try to come to a solution to your problem :D
What i did to try and get tomb raider 1 and 3 to work correctly is i deleted tomb raider 1+2+3 and reinstalled it, went into the properties and then compadibility and set it to windows 95 which is what my xp computer was set to for compadibility, and i did set it to run as administrador, and used the graphic mode setup like you said and tried to use different settings. And graphic mode setup didn't work. That was for tomb raider 1. For tomb raider 3 i checked control panel then sound. And went into properties and then compadibility like i did for tomb raider 1. And one thing i forgot to mention is that i restarted my computer a few times as well. Tomb raider 2 works fine. And tomb raider 1 still doesn't work for my windows 7 laptop sadly. Well those are the things i did to get tomb raider 1 and 3 to run correctly. Hope this was enough information for everybody.

Well, I just checked the configuration on my Win 7 32-bit netbook and I can run all 3 Tomb Raiders on it. Here's what I have for Tomb Raider 1:

for the GOGwrap.exe I have no options checked, no admin, no compatibility.

for the Tomb Raider 1 executable same thing.

for Tomb Raider 3's executable I have the compatibility set to Windows XP Service Pack 2, I have a checkmark in the box for "Disable visual themes" and a checkmark in the box labeled "Disable desktop composition", and I am running the exe as administrator.

Please note that I am running this game on a netbook. You could try to set Tomb Raider 1 and 3 to how I have it set up but it could end up not working. I'll suggest this: before making any sort of compatibility changes, please write down what you have before changing anything.

If this doesn't work, and I am not 100% sure it will but it's worth a try, please write to our Support department and we'll see what can be done about this nagging problem :D.
Ok. I'll try that. Btw i have a question. Do you work with a video game company or something? Cuz i don't know about this support department and wanted to know if you were just a regular person that goes online at home. You know what i'm saying? I'm just confused.
