I have a problem with FMV cut-scenes when running Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation in full-screen mode. The audio plays fine but the video is blank except for a tiny rectangle in the top left corner.

Incidentally, if I run the game using the software renderer, then the main menu also appears blank except for the tiny rectangle area in the top-left corner. The content of this tiny rectangle is not the top-left corner of the video or the game. It appears to be a distorted and squashed section of a larger portion of the video content.

My desktop resolution is 1920x1080 @ 120hz. I'm running Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit, and I've got a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 690 with driver version 347.52

A screenshot from the Eidos / Core intro video is attached.

I discovered the solution to the problem and the FMV cut-scenes are playing correctly now.

The problem is with Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR). All 'DSR - Factors' must be disabled.

The support article on this topic needs to be amended to make this absolutely clear. I initially ignored its advice because I had not selected a DSR resolution in the Tomb Raider Setup dialog.

I suggest adding the emboldened line to the support article like this:
In late January, NVIDIA introduced in its drivers the Supersampling option. It essentially renders the game in up to quadruple resolution, and scales it back down to your actual resolution. This is a specific anti-aliasing method, rarely implemented in games (Witcher 2 was an exception, and called it "Ubersampling").
It is enabled by default on GTX 980 cards, and optional on others.
It has been known to cause launch issues with older games, as it forces them to use an unsupported resolution.

DSR can cause problems even if you haven't chosen to use a DSR in the game's setup.

To disable this option, right-click your desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel". Go to "3D Settings" and find the "DSR - Factors" option. Un-select all possible settings and confirm. This should change the setting to "Off". Apply the changes and check if this resolved the issue.
I had the same issue on mine. The solution... Do a google search for " dgvoodoo". It should be the first search link. Download the package and extract DDraw.dll and D3DImm.dll to the games install directory. Basically this gives game support for Directx 1-7. This is basically the same fix that's included in the unoffical patches for Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight II for those of you that are having issues for those games too. This Also works for Tomb Raider 4 as I was having the same issues with that one as well.
