Sorry to post again (so soon :P), but I'm seriously considering getting this soon. I was wondering if somebody could test out the TR cheat codes, and let me know if they work. (It's just nice to have an "out" if things get too difficult.)

I just tried out the all weapons and level skip codes for TR1 and I can confirm that it works so I assume the others do as well. I would test the other Tomb Raider games, but I can't get past the Eidos logo without 2 & 3 freezing. I had forgotten about you enter the cheat codes, brings back memories.

Hi it's strange you can't get to the menu's on TR2 and 3 they both work fine for me have your tried running admin for the initial set up so the games can make changes they need? Other then that i'm sorry but i'm not sure why you they don't work for you.

I guess I should've updated my post. I actually found out that I can skip the freezing logo and cutscenes by pressing Esc and the rest of the games will play as normal, but unfortunately the CG/FMV cutscenes still freeze and their music skips like a record. While that dosen't affect gameplay it still detracts from enjoying the games. I'm not the only GOG member having this problem either. I sent the GOG staff a support mail and my DxDiag, hopefully they'll fix this problem or have a solution we can apply.

Edit: I'm running Windows XP Pro SP3 as the primary user on my PC so I don't think I should have any admin problems like on Win Vista and 7 if I understand correctly.

Definitely i haven't played much of the main games all i can tell you is the audio works perfectly in the house parts of the game (what i played all the time when i was a kid so naturally it's what i've been doing lol)

As for cutscenes i haven#t gotten to any in Tomb Raider 2 and 3 all i know is TR2 has an odd issue when playing the intro cutscene it will play but i can see the window but the cutscene is all fuzzy or something it's really strange...

Other then that it's a shame the games have these issues but i can't be mad at GOG $9.99 is an excellent price even with the issues they have...

I'm just glad i bought it now because at least i can play them if GOG pull them like the did with Motoracer (which i was gutted at the time because i didn't buy it in time)

I won't be asking for a refund though GOG deserve my money and even if they decide to pull the games and offer refunds i don't feel it's necessary.

Yeah, I had that problem with the intro cutscene in TR2 also. The audio works fine in all the actual gameplay, it's just the CG cutscenes.
There is a "fix" for my problem that another GOGer found, but I find it to be a bit of a pain so i'll probably just wait and see if GOG applies their own fix: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/tomb_raider_series/fix_for_tr_2_and_3_sound_and_cutscene_problem

I agree, even if the games have some problems I can't really be mad considering the cheap price. I'm hoping GOG and Square-Enix are willing to release the problematic PC version of Final Fantasy 7 soon. I'm willing to take chance on it as i've heard it can be fixed with community patches.

Didn't even know there was a PC version of FF VII I'm not really an RPG fan but I would probably buy FF VII just to own it and maybe I'll give it a go again.

As for Tomb Raider maybe they'll give us a copy of Tomb Raider 4 to compensate? Lol I've never played that game so I'd be certainly interested in giving it a go if it even had a PC version that is...

The only game I really want them to release is Theme Park World used to play that all the time as a kid :)

You mean Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation? According to MobyGames there is a Windows version of the game, so I expect it will show up here on GOG eventually.

FF VII is one of my all time favorites from back in my PS1 days, but the later PC port that Eidos published (before they became part of Square-Enix) is a mess i've heard. Thankfully, fans fixed it with patches and have even modded it with high res textures and upgraded character models.

Yeah I mean last Revalation and I presume during GOGs negotians they secured all the tomb raider games developed by CORE so your probably right we will more then likely see it here eventually.

As fr FF VII I have played the game on PS1 pretty sure most people have but I just don't geenerally like RPG's (the Persona series being the exception)

None the less high Rez models and stuffs sounds really nice.
