Hi all,
My firs question is for GOG: Is there any reason this game had Windows 98/ME compatibility turned on by default? I'm asking because it created a lot of problems for me like saves undtected by the game and CTDs when loading a new level. Not to be a smartass here but the game came out in 2003, XP era. Though I didn't try it, wouldn't it be a more logical choice? And why use compatibility at all? Game ran better and without problems when I disabled and turned WMV9 for cutscenes on. I'm on Win 8.1 by the way.
And now the big question: My laptıp has 2 GPUs. One is Intel 4600, the other is nVidia 750m. I want the game to run with nVidia, but it doesn't want to. And it's stubborn. I change the graphics card from nVidia control panel but it still runs on Intel. When I restart control panel I see that the chocie reverted back to "Auto-select: Integrated". Is there any way to run this with nVidia? I want to use AA and Intel is a bit slow for this.
Thanks in advance.
