i recently downloaded the game through an online installer to make my cdrom work on my windows 8 laptop. game work but i am having problems saving the game and opening it back up. everytime i try to reopen it is says fatal error and crashes. any help here???

Hey did you ever find a solution? It was saving and opening again fine for me until today, now I'm getting fatal error, so I cant' open my save.
