So originally I downloaded this on steam but the graphics were all bugged. Black title screen, etc.
So I got the GOG version and that ran perfectly, except some of the dialog would skip.
So I tried to use this fix https://steamcommunity (dot) com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1377239558
but when I started the game the gog version now had the graphical glitch.
So I uninstalled everything and reinstalled and the graphics are still glitched.
They worked fine before. How do I get them back?
Any tips?
okay so immediately after posting this I tried it again and it worked fine. what is going on with this game?

okay so after a few more tries I've found that sometimes the game works fine and sometimes it doesn't. Most of the time it doesn't. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it though.
Sometimes it starts out working fine and then in the middle of some dialogue it will glitch out.

Any tips to get the game working reliably would be greatly appreciated.

I'm playing on Windows 7 btw
