If you are experiencing any technical issues: Please report them in this thread.

Please describe how you encountered the issue and if it's replicable or if it didn't happen after loading an older save.

Known issues:
! ! The game stutters when I run ! !
Inconsistent framerate can cause this issue.
To help with the issue I recommend to try the following:
-Lock fps to 60 in graphical settings
Still a problem:
-Lower the graphics settings, ie epic -> high.
Still a problem:
-Disable head bobbing in settings-general

! ! I am stuck, I can't move ! !
Load latest save.

! ! I am not allowed to load/save ! !
Choose “Quit to menu” and load from there.

! ! I can't use arrow-keys to move ! !
! ! Mouse buttons don't work with computers and radio UI ! !
Not supported at this moment.

! ! Mouse sensitivity is suddenly weird and I can't change it ! !
Please report when, how and if you are using separate x/y in the thread.
To fix it:
Turn off game -> Browse to this folder:
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\titanstation\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
XXX = username

Delete Input.ini and start the game, you will probably have to set up key bindings again unless you are using the default ones.

! ! Can I change FOV? / I am playing on ultra wide ! !
Custom FOV is not currently supported.

Ultra wide users can try to open the "Engine.ini" located in "C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\titanstation\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor"
XXX = Username

In engine.ini add:
[/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
Computer screens are a bit too blurry ("bloomy"?) for my taste.
Makes the text on them harder to read then necessary.

Unlike with the data pads there is no way to rotate them to change the angle.
(Rotating the pads is a nice throwback to 90s era displays and yet again they also are similar to present-day e-ink devices, overall a nice design.)

Not sure if it's the settings or it looks the same for other players.
Readability should be prioritised (also consider accessibility for people with disabilities).
Attachments:
The player character/avatar has no body?

During the arrival scene, while seated, the player can look down and see that their character has hands resting on arm rests and legs.

When moving through the station and holding the radio the player can see their reflection in the television screen of a crew member's quarters. All that is visible is a floating hand holding a radio.

This does break immersion a bit.

Hey!

Regarding computers screens being blurry or hard to read, try activating zoom mode in
settings-general-zoom.
Some clipping might occur when inspecting certain objects but it should make texts alot easier to read.

Hey!

The player does not have an body except for when sitting down or similar.

Are you playing with ray tracing?

Saved games and load menu:

There are multiple save slots but when saving the game it is not clear which slot is being saved to?

Is having two rows dedicated to loading slot #/latest save game redundant?
You could also add a an indicator to the left of the number to show that this is the "latest" save?

On one occasion the slot numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) were not properly aligned below each other.

There is a lot of empty space in the menu to the left. Some languages might experience truncation when text extends too far to the right to the screen border. (GUI localisation issue). See screenshot of French version.

Perhaps just move the whole save slots list to the left a bit?

The dates are not aligned properly below each other (should be left-aligned?).
The information is not that important. Where in the game am I is.
Maybe add a screenshot/preview picture of the location where the game was saved and/or the section name (e.g. "Section A").
[i] Regarding computers screens being blurry or hard to read, try activating zoom mode in

Thanks, this does help!

Scale and immersion:
the numerical keypad on doors is quite small. It would be difficult to type on it with such a big gloved hand.

Game crashes frequently.
Running in Fullscreen mode. Surface Pro 8 (Windows 11) with external monitor (dual monitor setup).
Lowered graphics details to medium quality and resolution to 720p.
No change.

The UE4-titanstation Game has crashed and will close

with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED with Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

Gameplay objective
First task is to update 5 computers in 5 rooms.
However, one room turns out to inaccessible. The supervisors says it's okay and not to worry.

Shouldn't this be updtaed/reflected in the quest text at the top left of the screen?

"3 of 5 to go"

"3 of 4 to go"

Hey!

There are four save slots and it saves over the oldest one when saving.

It´s a very basic save/load system.
As a player you just press "Continue" to keep playing and if something goes bad you can reload an older save by looking at the time and date of the save.

A screenshot from the save-location would have been great but I couldnt figure out how to do it in Unreal engine without using C++.

I agree on the hand looking big or the pad being to small.
I´ll have a look at the layout of the loadgame UI for the next patch

Hey again,

That crash sounds bad, have not heard if it before.
Googling "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG " it I can find some different guides to help with it but it seems to have to do with the GPU having a hard time.
Maybe you can try to lock the FPS in the video menu and/or lower the graphics settings, maybe that helps.

I have played this game on low end laptops and it have worked on low, I mean it doesnt look as good ofc but it have worked fine.

Minor logic bug:

The game narrative assumes that players will explore the office area by first going to the comms station/radio and discover that it is not working because one part (of four) is missing. Then the player will proceed to Jack Allen's office and discover the hidden area.

However, it is possible to skip the radio room and head straight for the hidden area in which the player character and the female NPC talk about the missing part even though the player character has not yet learned of this (seen it).

Not sure how this can be addressed.

Thanks for taking the time to look into this and replying. My Surface's fan does seem to spin quite a bit when running the game with medium settings and a resolution of no more than 1600 x 900 on an external monitor. Granted, it's not really a gaming setup.

I´ll have a look at the layout of the loadgame UI for the next patch

That would be great. My biggest request/recommendation would be to add a small thumbnail preview of the current ingame view so that would help players easier identify where they are. Some people might play the game in several sessions with time passing inbetween.

Not sure if the game gives you info about where the player currently is (section, room) but that info could also be displayed in text form as part of the save game or as an overlay on the thumbnail.

Clipping when inspecting the coolant liquid containers.

When inspecting the cylindrical containers in the server rooms they may be viewed close up and spun around. This causes their top and bottom to clip with the ingame camera/player view.

Happens when using the "Zoom" feature.
Hello, I'm stuck on the objective "sign in, again". Looking at the computer, no interaction prompt is visible. If I wander around the station, other computers work as normal.

Hey!

Sorry for the late response!

Did it work out?

If it didn´t please send me the save files and I´ll see if I can fix it.

Save files are in:
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\titanstation\Saved\SaveGames
XXX== username

Please send them to support_steam@polygongruvan.se

In Section A, when I'm reconnecting all the computers to the network, I got Veronica's radio and connected Sara's computer, and then I went all the way to the end and did John's computer next. (That's 3 out of 5, including my own.) Then I backtracked to Steve's room, and radio'd Jack because I didn't have Steve's door code. The conversation says I finished all the computers and can proceed to Section B. But I skipped over Thomas's room! Probably because I did the rooms out of order instead of linearly like the game assumes I did.
offline installer does not work, it gives me 3 error messages every time I try to run the game, this is on a clean install of windows 10
