I cannot get the eye of chaos from the fayum desert region.
I can kill the boss to get it, but when I go to pick it up it just disappears.

Like other quest items, that are sitting in plain sight, you have to "touch it" first so it falls to the ground and then you pick it up.
I can "touch it", the animation for it plays, and there is nothing there to pick up.

I have tried several times to get it.
I have also tried restarting the game, and trying again with no luck.

It is not in my inventory, and if I look at my quest log, it does not have a check mark beside it.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I cannot progress in the game without the eye of chaos.


***UPDATE***

I tried getting the eye of chaos with one of my other characters on a lower skill level..
They were able to obtain it.
So I then tried to get it again with the character that couldn't get it, and I was able to obtain it, with them as well.
