Hi everybody,
today I tried to install Ragnarök to expand the fun I already have for some time with TQ:AE.
I'm playing under GNU/Linux with WINE and until now TQ:AE did run with almost no glitches.
Good enough to give the first expansion a try I thought.
After the download I made sure that the WINE variables match and are correct (WINEPREFIX and WINEARCH) and started the installer:
<code>
$ wine setup_titan_quest_ragnarok_2.9_mp_hotfix_\(36663\).exe
</code>
This failed with a pretty generic "Runtime Error (at 73:1379)" and a "Runtime Error (at 211:814): Out of Global Vars range" plus a message "Invalid Opcode".
After doing some research I found that TQ:AE may need to be updated first as the version shown in the game is "v1.47" which sounds strange as the installer has the version tag 2.10.0.12.
Anyway, is there a good way to update the game without reinstall manually and/or is anybody running TQ:AE and its extensions successfully with WINE?
Thanks and kind regards,
telsh
