How on Earth any even in the least degree positive reviews for this might come?

What should have been done to graphic engine from 2006 that it now lags, tears, blurs, quakes and eats my eyes out? And no tinkering in video options, no lowering and no checking/unchecking makes things better.

Game can now suddenly just drop out to desktop, with no error messages, nothing - just poof, and I'm on my desktop again. And it does it regularly.

One (two in fact) of the worst addons I've ever seen, and one of the worst GOG purchases I've ever made. The one and only positive thing I've seen so far, it's new font.
Seriously, I just can't see any other positive changes. Runes in Ancient Greece? Stunning with axes? Omnipresent boomerangs made to kill rabbits (yes, lagobolon is just that)?

Something is deeply wrong here.

BTW, you can get the same graphics enhancement in good old Gold Edition (with 1.17 patch, of course) by setting anisotropic filtering on 16 for TQIT.exe in your graphic card's control panel. And with no lagging and tearing.
FXAA can be set there as well.

I've not had any problems with this version, no CTDs or any graphic issues.The only issue I've had is being stuck after using town teleport, not sure if this bug is in the earlier verions to or not.

still waiting for an update... white screen during night time is just game breaking to me... and the lags... the devs didnt considered the polygons of bushes and trees when they decided to create a forest is atlantis, I used to play TQ+R on my i7 lpatop, now... you need a serious desktop and still the lags are there

I've no problem, just the old lag sometimes when zoning.

I also have problems with the newest version, the games runs slowly and catches up going quickly all the time... I also have the feeling the objects are not properly clickable.

Is the version 1.45 available somewhere?
