I installed the Titan Quest DLCs today and now get a black screen when I start the game. I believe the problem lies with Atlantis. TQAE will launch fine with *just* Ragnarok installed, but as soon as I put Atlantis in - it's back to a black screen. I found a couple of tips on the Steam Forums for a similar issue, but none of the solutions there worked for me (hitting Alt-Enter as well as setting "Triple Buffering" to false in options.txt). I have Win 10 and my computer more than meets the minimum reqs of the game. Oddly enough, my husband can run Atlantis on Win 10 with a slightly older video card, although he plays through Steam. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing the problem? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

I had a problem with Atlantis too and I did this:

Right click on the Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition application on my desk, and in the "Target" line, I added -windowed after the quotation mark, so it looks like:
"D:\GOG Games\Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition\TQ_DX11.exe" -windowed

My new problem, though, is that the game don't like my old characters...

UPDATE - Well, all my problems solved when I launched the game windowed, but not the DX11 version, the standard application in the game root folder...

I had the same problem and enabling 'vsync' fixed it for me.

The problem occured when I set the menu background to Atlantis. In order to change it, I went to Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\Settings and there edited a file called options. There, I found a line with MenuBackground parameter and set it to:
MenuBackground = 2
where 2 is for Ragnarok background. You can change it to 0(vanilla TQ background) or 1(Immortal Throne background).
Thank you all for your suggestions. I started with the easiest one (for me anyway) - enabling V-Sync. I then installed Atlantis, fired it up, and I am ecstatic to report that it worked. Thanks again.
