Hello all,
So I haven't yet bought the Eternal Embers DLC and my current game version is the 2.9 hotfix. I do have both Ragnarok and Atlantis.
Is it safe for me to update to latest version or would that screw up my current stable 2.9 install?
Current install is working fine btw w/o any major issues. I'm also using LootplusXMAX 2.9 version as well.
I was wondering if things that appear in Act 2 with latest patch for example, such as the Golden Scarab, be active in Act 2 w/o EE installed? Or if it does appear, the relic part that drops can even be interacted with?
I was reading some other posts about someone installing post-Ragnarok updates w/o the Ragnarok DLC and having events and items active, but not usable in-game, with msgs saying to own Ragnarok. Or merchants having items for sale, but not purchasable w/o Ragnarok.
For example, the Golden Scarab shows up but can't be attacked cause I don't own EE DLC or it can be killed, but the relic can't be picked up.
Thank for any info!
