Have been wondering about this for a while. Played a game V1.4 as conqueror. At L12 had 2 formulas and some green loot drops. Upgraded to 1.43 and started a new game. No formulas and lousy loot drops. Real stingy actually. Weapons from vendors was less powerful. Went back to V1.4 and started another game. I have 4 game comps easy to do. The better drops of loot returned. So what about the seeding? I have worked on this and will tell you my results. It is my observations. Game has a dice roll for seeding from cheap to abundance. The only place I could repeat this is at the spartan camp. Arrive and go up and to the left where the spartans are fighting.Note the number of loot chests. I have seen from 0 to 5 chests spawn. Note the type and number of enemys.also. If 3 chests are there I play. Less I don't. Can be a hassle repeating this until you get the 3 chests but worth it. I have gotten formulas in the first town 2 times before going anywhere else. This could be V1.4 specific. Nessus gave a formula 1st contact and usually some green loot. Have gotten 2 formulas in first pass in the Rhokatis library and 2 green staffs. So my game session is to run the seed chance at spartan camp then continue my normal area. I played the 5 chest roll and hit nessus majestic chest. My char was L22. Got a blue set armor. Got the "Fool something formular" from a sepulcher under athens. Chests will upgrade also in some cases. This works for me. Try it if you like.
