Hi folks,

I wanted to start modding my Titan Quest files like I did with my normal retail versions I owned in the past.

Unfortunately, every time I try to run the Editor.exe from the Titan Quest folder to create a new map, it just shows an error message box with the text "xtagMenuError1" in it and nothing more.

Can anyone help me with that, please?

My system specs:
i7-4790K
16 GB RAM
GTX 1080
Windows 10 Education

Best,
Michael

Try This
1: Run Regedit
2: Path to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Iron Lore
3: (Unless there is already a folder called Titan Quest) Right click on Iron Lore and Create a new key and call it Titan Quest
4: (Unless there is a string value (REG_SZ) called Install Location) right click on the Titan Quest folder and create a new string value and call it Install Location
5: Double left click on Install Location and change the value data to where you installed the game for example; C:\Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition

Hopefully this helps helps :)

Wow, thanks!

You are the man. That really worked and the editor is opening now! :)

Best,
Michael
