I really don't understand why people pay such money for a product that is UNFINISHED. The more people pay for unfinished games, the more devs will carry on with such practice. I would understand, maybe, a low price for early access, but this is absurd.

Although unfinished, Timberborn has already a very rich gameplay and is very stable. I play it on Linux (emulating Windows) and it never ever crashed, not once.

Although unfinished, it's one of my favourite games, I already played for hundreds of hours. And I eagerly anticipate Update 6, with really promising and exciting new features!

So, yes, IMO, it is worth the cost, even at ~20 €.

And, btw, I wish all unfinished games would have the quality and the stability of Timberborn!

EDIT : speaking of the devil, there it is, update 6 available one hour ago!!!

I bought Timberborn last year ( Fall 2023 ) knowing exactly how much content it had back then ( had watched a Let's Play ), and I had alot of fun with it at the time, and still have alot of fun with it when I start a map again.

Very glad I didn't have to wait 2025+ to play this gem of a colony survival game.
