It seems to be a trend recently where a game is originally sold on Steam and then a year or so later is sold on GOG. I have this game and Galaxy Trucker on Steam and now they are on GOG. I never would have bought them on Steam if I had known they were coming to GOG. I am tired of having to buy games I like twice.
Same here. But I just simply stopped buying games on steam, and only buy games here on GOG.

Problem solved!

You're welcome.

That's a good solution ! I personally did that a long time ago... However one has to accept to never buy some games that will never come here on GOG, or a decade later, maybe, which may be too late for one's tastes.

Considering this, I ended up with the "It's only a game after all" philosophy... Though I have to admit I resorted to my old friend Bill Torrance a handful of times, which has the advantage the versions there are Steam-free, but the big problem of being potentially ridden with malware or viruses, which requires long and time-consuming verifications. And even then, my rule is "If it ever becomes DRM-free, I will buy it".

As an example, that's what I did with The Escapists 2, as soon as read that the publisher had no intention to release the game on GOG. But they changed their mind, and I bought it on GOG when it came here.

I've been doing this for a year now, buying games on GOG and pirate everything on steam. If the games I pirate become available here later, I buy them. And the only games I play online are Verdun and Tennenberg. So this formula works perfectly for me.

As for viruses, I don't have any problems with that. Where I torrent, Mods and Admins check every upload before make it available for download.

Valve in reality, are a bunch of crooks. And I have no intentions to support those greedy bastards. And I talked about it publicly and privately, and they banned me for weeks and said that they will ban me permanently if I keep up. You can't even speak your mind, they will simply bully you and ban you.

If GOG will go that way one day, I will pirate their games as well. But so far, I have nothing but love for GOG.

GOG isn't perfect, there's some things I don't like, and I make sure they hear about it, but it's not the end of the world either. So, it's GOG all the way. And there's more and more games here almost daily, witch is wonderful to see. :)

We might be able to do something about it ;)

I stay away from steam. I only buy from GOG. If we all boycott bussinesses like steam with unethical practices, the world would be a better place

Agree with you there, comrade!

The only thing that keep me going back to steam, are my good steam-friends and online games like Verdun and Tennenberg. But I nolonger buy games on steam, or support steam in any way.

Your game is awesome, Mr. Developer. Got the game, later got the DLC as well. Hope to see more.

All the best! ;)
