I remember playing a demo of this way back when, and it seemed interesting. However the battles all seemed very pre-set. Where it was all about solving puzzles rather than just playing more traditional Gwent.
I wasn't a huge fan of it, as I basically wanted to just play Gwent, but single player (as I don't like playing against other people).

Is the whole game pretty much like that? Card battles giving you a puzzle to solve as opposed to just playing the card game?

Sorry to Necro this but i did not want to make a new thread.

I am pretty disapointed - almost disgusted!

I bought that game on sale knowing nothing of it but it was Gwent with a Single Player Story.
First: The controls outright suck bcs any controller seems to override Mouse+KB making it at times an uncontrollable drift cursor challenge.
Second: The game has nothing to do with the Gwent you know from The Witcher game - its a generic card game with a Witcher theme that is badly explained.

The only reason i do not give this game back is i got it on sale and maybe one day when the Full Moon meets the Dark Midday Sun i will have the mood to stomach playing it despite it all.

But yeah, utterly disapointed - how could CDPR have fallen so deep releasing this crap?
