If someone hasn't played the previous Witcher games, can he play this without spoilers for the other titles?

Even when some of the characters are mentioned in the main witcher games, it is a completely different and independent story, so it's irrelevant if you know the main plot or not, but you should play the main games, cause they are amazing.

Oh I know. I bought the first Witcher game, the special edition one, when it was first released. It's just that I have a huge list of games I bought and haven't played, going back to the 80s. I am trying.
