Morrowless: I'm mostly interested in the pure single player aspect of Gwent so to be rewarded with MP-only cards seem really obnoxious and out of place. It would have been much better to have a mix of both cards at least. Golden chests should feel more rewarding...
LightningYu: Well you guys shouldn't forget this is basically the "Gwent" - "Singleplayer" only sold as an Standalone Game... you even can enter Gwent within the Mainmenu of Thronebreaker.. so the Golden Chests kinda make sense for unlocking new stuff for Gwent...
And the Reason why Special Units and such are few, because in Thronebreaker the Gwent Fights aren't an "boardgame" but actual armies / soldiers and such... so it have to stick close to the story, so it wouldn't make sense if you have too much of variety....
But then, at last, let me play good soloplay. I get that this is basicly an Advertisement packed into a Game and we paid for it, but if im playing a Soloplayer Game, give me stuff for it and not the fkign Multiplayer. The Difficulty of this game is, even on Bonebreaker, ridiculously easy. These Golden Chest are just a Punch in the Face for the Players that dont care about the Multiplayer. Just give us the MP Stuff after the Bosses or after the Chapter, but give us smthing for the Campaign in the rare GOlden Chests..
So the whole Games just Screams at me : PLAY MULTIPLAYER.
Im with you tho on the Golden Cards. Correctly used, your Golden Cards are insanly Strong. Its just most of them should be used for gainign a Lot of Strength on your side of the Battle.... just sad that often you dont need that because the Enemy is weak. I rarely see them popp 100 Points or even 80. Eyck can do that alone lol.
