Would be interested to know if anyone else is having difficulty with the game after the update. I’m in aedirn and before progress was steady but now I can’t get past a single battle and I’m not just losing I’m being annihilated - my deck is as strong as it can be I suppose - I never really messed around too much with card building before this point. There is a monster battle in aedirn and Iv tried so many times to save the nilfgaardens and now the scoiatel are destroying me and I can’t progress and Iosing the motivation to play.

Please share your experiences if having same problem or any tips that can get me past these damn elves.

I’m on normal difficulty. What I am saying is that the monsters and scoiatel seemed too overpowered since the update and was wondering if people were finding the same. Failing that, how do I tackle the elf cards in aedirn?

I'm playing on hard. well maybe there were 1-2 troublesome battles here and there, but as I remember I fixed the opponent army with enforcing mass scytheman and getting additional cards with Black Rayla. think on the strategy.

Same problem here.

I play for the first time and my difficulty level is set to normal. I don't know how it was before the patch. Before the patch I've completed first act only where everything went smoothly.

Now I got back to the game after some break, the patch was installed and problems began. Some fights in Aedirn are crazy! First there was one fight with nekkers which required about like ten attempts for me. I said: "OK, maybe my deck required some fine tuning". But later there was that encounter with Scoia'tael where I loose with over 50 points to AI!!! It's ridicules! I'm struggling few hours and I have enough. It's so annoying. I can't progress. I have few days off the work and cannot enjoy the game.

It's really disappointing...

The game does have some tough battles and puzzles. But even the hard battles are more a case of logic and strategy rather than luck.
You have to think of the best strategy. Don't hesitate to change the cards in your army in order to win specific battles. Some unit cards are better than others depending on the type of enemy you're facing.

Don't use a "rigid" strategy. Even the ability of Queen Meve may need to be changed in order to be successful. Think "outside the box" and you're sure to win :)

I haven't won a single battle since the tutorial, tried about 15 so far.
