I read a review that said it was pretty easy on normal. For those playing on hard, how difflcult is it? Thanks

Started it on medium but i've switched to Bonebreaker which is the hardest one cause it was too easy and it's still easy for me but I have played regular Gwent before so that might be it!
As someone who is now quite far (almost all upgrades) and has been playing on Bonebreaker the entire time, well I honestly cant imagine normal. I actually checked after a few hours to make sure I had actually set the difficulty as any "battles", aka not puzzles, have been laughable. Basically if I have the worst RNG possible its still almost impossible to lose and I haven't lost a battle yet. Generally its beyond a slaughter.
Difficulty of non puzzle battles is WAY too easy,Devs should patch it
Can't agree on that. Well it might be for (hardcore) Veterans way too easy, but as someone like me who mostly only played on Witcher 3 and a bit Gwent Beta, i had now a fight which pissed me so much off(non-puzzle) that i almost uninstalled the Game if didn't set the difficulty from normal to easy so i can skip this f**** battle. ( I retried it 5 times )

I got it say it's quite easy even in bonebreaker (non puzzle fights).

It's becoming boring because of that.
I just came here to check if there is any bug that makes game not recognize that I picked 'hard' difficulty and not 'easy'. Game is great, but it's so easy, that it's getting boring even though I haven't played Gwent since TW3.

Not to mention that the game gives 'hints' before difficult puzzles - I didn't pick difficulty level called 'Bonebreaker' to get hints :(.

Yeah same. Playing on Bonebreaker too, i got only 25 Cards in my deck, no need to change stuff through to the whole Ysgith arc before and later on. Just some Cards are way too unbalanced.

Im sitting in the Rivien Arc with 40k Money and around 10k wood because i dont need that anymore.
I dont want to dislike the Game or anything but:

This Game feels like an rushed advertisement for Gwent. I feel like im playing a Game just to get into their Multiplayergame Gwent. Even those fkign golden Chest are Multiplayer only so i started to not give a fuck about them.
Some cards dont work at all, the fights are really boring since the Cards of the Players are just way stronger then the opponents ones.

Pretty sure i spend most of my time doing puzzles...
I play on easy, but the puzzles are still really difficult.

I, personally, still enjoy it. I like the story, choices and art. Also the maps have quite a lot of side quests, puzzles, exploration etc., so I wouldn't call the game rushed.

Nonetheless, I agree that game is not balanced and opponents have quite poor decks.

I think that puzzles are static and they don't scale with the difficulty level. Which is funny because it's the only element that feels properly difficult. I really enjoy solving them.

I didnt say i dont like the game.

I love Meve as a Character and i hope i get another Chance to play with her. In the times of 3rd wave feminism and sjws i feel like she is an example of, in my opinion, a female character can be the main character without beeing forced" or anytign like it. I loved doing some of the puzzles and doing the decisions.

But it , in my opinion, is still a Game thats only been made to advertise Gwent. But thats another story.
Yes puzzles are great, but battles are just cake walk on hardest
Yeah playing on Hardest and it's just only a way to figure out most battles. I swap the cards in deck as new ones appears. The only battle I did rebuild it from scratch was the whoreson which came by boat to pillage my lands :D
Lippy Gudmund
I just hate that I don't ever know what I'm given if I also go for Optional objectives :(
