updated the game today and have had constant problems all day. first it crashed upon loading save but after verifying installation i was able to play. Now game crashes randomly when starting a battle. everything was great before the update.

I changed the Video setting to "windowed", instead of "fullscreen". It seems this fixed all my problems with the game constantly getting stuck/freezing and/or turns not ending.

Changing from full screen didn't help in my case; sometimes the turns just don't end.
