I have an original CD of this game. Problem is, it doesn't like my newer hardware.
Meaning, any hardware newer than a Pentium III that I tried (Win XP and Win 7 as well, but it seems
it's hardware problems). Currently a twenty years old PIII laptop is the only stuff that runs it.
(Any other platform it crashes.)

So did they change anything in this edition?
Looking at some forum threads, I'm afraid not.

i dont think so i have the original game from when i bought it long long ago in the box and i've never noticed any difference in the games.

And nobody had any problems with running the Gog version on modern computers?

Okay, I got confirmation, it runs under Win 7.

It's still not clear, but some web sources indicate that the original runs up to XP SP1, but not in SP2 or above.
In win9x compatibility mode it says FT_Thunk error in kernel32 or something like that.

The gog version is fixed .
