First install your game, make sure everything is turned off in properties of Throne.exe (no need to check if you haven't tried running the game in compatibility mode).

Download a program called DxWnd (can't post links).
This program allows you to run games in different rendering modes, in windowed mode.

Unpack the program, run "dxwnd".

In the menu, choose Edit -> Add

Set the Path to where your Throne of Darkness is installed, double click the Throne.exe.

For Launch select/double click the Throne.exe and click OK.

Double click the icon of the game and have fun!

If you want to change the resolution the game runs at, or try fullscreen mode, right click the icon and choose Modify, then edit W and H values to your desires, or check fullscreen option.

Thanks for the guide.

I did as you wrote but when i click the Throne Icon in DxWnd - nothing happens.. It wont start the game.
Any additional settings needed?
