I personally don't mind the low and locked resolution that much, but the fact that its stretched to 16:9 is a tad annoying.
Does anyone know of a workaround for this?

Hope you see this but there is a way to keep it and all other older games to 4:3

AMD and Nvidia has a setting in the control panel that allows the driver to force older applications at that ratio. it works wonders and makes games look so much better.
