Complete Rework - on Steam it says that it will be released on 29 january.
It is already released on GOG since 26 january.
Developer said on Steam forum that Rework will be free update and only new content will be released as DLC.
Is Rework already included earlier in standard GOG version or do we need to wait for 29 january Steam release to get this update on GOG?
Does Rework contain english language improvements?
Is this definitely final release of Conussia or something more is planned?

Official post (ID: 18): "Steam release has the new achievements and will be extended with some shop items, the new backgrounds, etc, which is not presented at GOG"
What exactly is not included in GOG version and why?

Hi there, speedux!

Thanks for your attention.

The games and it's content are absolutely the same on GOG and on Steam.
I plan to work on profiles assets for Steam, but it has no connection to the game's content!

Base game "Three kingdoms story: Conussia" is reworked. If you played it before, you'll notice improved UI, backgrounds and some scenes. If you haven't played it yet, so it will be difficult to compare for you, as you do not know how it looked before.

DLC - "Three kingdoms story: Conussia - Complete rework" offers the new characters, which are not presented in the main game, as well as extended scenes, quests, etc...

Regards,
Kamti.

Could you please explain to me why a simple rework of a game is sold as DLC that has the same price as the original game? A lot of devs would offer such things as a free patch (as announced in the OP) but at the very least it would not cost the same as the base game. Is there anything in this DLC that could explain such a high price? On itch you are selling base game and DLC für $9.99 - what is the reason that you have to pay approc $14.00 here on GOG?

Dear Customer,

first of all thanks a lot for playing the games I developed.

I understand your concern and would like to provide following explanation:

1.It's not a simple rework. It has nearly more of content than the main game itself. You mentioned commercial issue in you questions and I want to say it's not the best desicion to issue a DLC for the old game. It's my first game and made lots of mistakes there and I wanted to solve them offering Reworked version + extra content. It's absolutely not possible to work like this and avoid charging money for this work, at least in my case.

2.Regarding Itch. Price on Itch is average one. I do not offer any sales on Itch (I remember only one time I set a discount there), at the same time it was two sales this year at GOG and one more sale is going to happen soon. In the end, If you want to buy the game with lower price, GOG is a good place for that. Different platforms have different rules and I am not perfect to balance things. I try to provide players at each platform a good offer. Sorry if that confused you.

Thank you for the explanation. If I understood you correctly: you made your first game and wanted to make it better so you decided to do additional work on it and also add additional stuff to the game to make it even better - but you could not do it for free because it simply was not possible for you. I really feel for small indie devs especially if it is the first game. I totally understand that you also wanted to make the game as good as you could and I guess there were reasons why the first release was not as good as you wanted it to be. I also do understand that sometimes it is not possible to do additional work for free - especially if you are a small indie dev - but since you still care for your games and those who purhased it you decided to do this as a DLC instead and charge the money you had to. It's definiteley not the best way from a marketing perspective but I do understand now why you decided to do it this way. Thank you for this honest and detailed reply. I have already put the DLC on my wishlist since it is obviously the way you are supposed to experience this game :)
Since you've decided to visually rework the game, may I suggest, you rework the script, too?

Thanks.
