There is an update to the steam release today (though little information about what it changes). So far nothing from GOG, though there are some issues noted (aggro against novel scavengers, resolution with low res monitor on capable GPU not correctly handled and others, including some crashes).

What should we expect for the update release for our version... While DRM free is good, responsive support is also positive, and is certainly a factor in which store I'd feel comfortable recommending others to purchase from).
Nothing really. The biggest issue it addressed was the memory leak on Linux. I have no idea what the other minor fixes were about, but the issue with resolutions is still in there.
GoG usually takes a bit longer then steam or humble, first they have to get the update from the developer, then they run it through their own QA to make sure it doesn't break the game and render it unplayable, then they either decide to release it as a patch or as a updated installer.

and all of this depends on WHEN the dev sends the update to them so if a dev releases a patch near the weekend, it can show up early the next week or even the week after, it honestly depends.

when a game is updated (or games) a little number will show up by "Account" and then it follow the number to your library and search for a game with the "updated" tag, the forum also has this thread http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread/ which keeps track of what has updated in GOG (usually head to the last page which is 219 as of this writing. )

Any further questions I or other GOGgers will be glad to help :) the staff are pretty responsive too, but it can take a bit of time as GOG is based in Poland.
